Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Macooler application for macOS ("the App") and the website at macooler.com, provided by Taha Yasin Bike, an individual sole trader based in the Republic of Türkiye ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Macooler you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Macooler on Mac computers you own or control, subject to these Terms. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the App.

2. Free and Pro

Macooler is free to download and use. Certain advanced features require a paid "Macooler Pro" subscription.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Macooler Pro is billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis through our payment provider, Polar, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. Applicable prices and taxes are shown at checkout.

4. Restrictions

• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by law.
• You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works of the App.
• You may not circumvent licensing or use the App for unlawful purposes.

5. Your responsibility

Macooler performs system monitoring, maintenance and control operations (such as fan control and running maintenance tasks). You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data and for reviewing actions before confirming them.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will not affect your files or system.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
